Ford Mustang Mach 1 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Project CarOakhurst, California CA - ORIGINAL 1970 MACH 1Car was purchased about 8 years ago with orginal 2 barrel 351w motor removed. Car was then stripped of all interior and then full body was soda blasted. Car was maunfactured in San Jose Ca. plant and never left Ca. Very little rust was discovered during soda blasting (rear lower panels and very little floor pan under driver foot) and was cutout and replaced with aftermarket panels. Car was put on routessurie and bottom was completey cleaned to metal and (as shown) has been repainted with frame, welded on, stifferners by Heidt. Original shock towers and battery tray were removed and new ones installed. Body work is completed to about 98. Fiberglass 3 hood and front dam were block sanded and touched up (never close to perfect straight from factory). Rear deck is new, rear quarter panel extensions, front and rear bumpers are new. Doors / front fenders are original. Car at one time had been hit in the right rear, it was taken to a auto bodyshop to be streched about 1 back to original point.
